Friday night with Oma & Opa - post #1

Victoria with the apple pie that she helped to make at the Laverdiere's house. It was delicious and she just beamed when everyone said so.
Oma and her Lily-Bug! When my parents got here on Friday, Lily just about RAN to the door when I said that Oma was here!! She sure does love her Oma and her Oma sure does love her!

Opa hearing all about the boys' trip and looking at AJ's map of Kentucky. AJ loves maps.

Jeff does not love having his picture taken, but after a few goofy faces, cooperated for a nice one!

Oma & Opa over for pizza & pie

The older children were all excited to have Christina & Madison Cote over for the afternoon!
Lunchtime - the all time favourite of kids of all ages....Kraft Macaroni & Cheese!

Our happy baby girl!

I laid down on the floor with a pillow and Lily came over to share!

Lily has an evil look in her eye. Not sure what she's thinking! :-)

Playing with the "picture taker" as one of the kids called it today!

Lily jabbering away.

Working on unfolding the clothes I just folded...actually she's pretty good about not touching when she's not suppose to touch.

Cheesy grin!

AJ is getting so big. 8 years old now!

Tori - she missed being in most of the pictures because she was cleaning her room.

Playing with the Christmas decorations

Awww, so sweet!

Even the big kids enjoy them!

Lily's New Smile

All of a sudden, for no apparent reason on Friday afternoon Lily started making this face when I'd ask her to smile. We got some video of her doing this on Sunday night during our "Apple Crisp Off" after the evening service.

Our PA Trip

Lily and her buddy, John-Boy Watson
This is a new development....starting for no apparent reason on Friday afternoon and has continued until now, every time we ask Lily to smile, this is the face she makes! Hilarious, but I hope she's not still doing it the next time we get family pictures done! Looks like she's yelling to me!

Hannah Watson and the boys.

Dancing Lily

You might want to pause the music I have on my page before playing this video!

The kids got the soundtrack CD for "Lilo & Stitch" from the library and Lily really likes this song!! At the end, it's almost like she's holding the pose on purpose and then checking to see if she did it right! She's such a joy!!

AJ's Picture in the Newspaper

Every year on Remembrance Day (November 11th), as a school we attend the service at our local Royal Canadian Legion. One student has the privilege of placing a wreath in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Last year Luke was the student who had that privilege. This year was AJ's turn. When we got back to the school, someone from The Tribune asking the name of the student from our school who placed the wreath. Here is the picture that was in the paper.

Here is the write-up that was below the pictures. Our school was mentioned again in the article as one of the three schools who attended. AJ's name is close to the middle (Andrew Harris) . :-)

Our Girls (and Luke - in one picture) :-)

Our beautiful Victoria!
Our baby girl is walking so well!

Our biggest and littlest munchkins.
Sweetie pie Lily....she just started scrunching up her face while she breathes in an out really fast through her nose. It's so cute. Trying to get it on video, but so far haven't been able to.

Is this a chair or a piano?

Our two little girls playing together. Lily LOVES this toy.

Every where I went this afternoon in the house, Lily would hold on and follow me. It was like she was attached to my skirt.
